Underwater Video- Goliath Takeover

Goliath Takeover/Sunday July 26, 2009/Gulf of Mexico-

      This is underwater video of a wreck dive twelve miles into the Gulf of Mexico with visibility of about twenty feet, and a depth of fifty. The wreck was a relatively small sunken shrimp boat. Despite the takeover by six massive goliath grouper, the amount of life was still overwhelming. It made me wonder just how amazing the spearfishing would’ve been if the goliath grouper hadn’t claimed it as their own. Huge bait-balls, eagle rays, barracuda, snapper, gag grouper, scamp, and even a spooky black grouper joined the party…check it out
